كنيسة مار إدنا - عين عكرينتقوم كنيسة مار إدنا في خراج بلدة عين عِكرين. بنيت على عِدَّة مراحل على أنقاضٍ رومانيّة قديمة. فهي بسوقٍ واحدٍ بعقدٍ سريريّ يحتوي على حنيَّة مُكوَّرة، وثلاثة قناطر في الجدار الجنوبيّ. على الحائط الشماليّ، بقايا جِداريّة، تعود الى القرون الوسطى . في الكنيسة لوحة نادرة لمار إدنا مرسومة على النحاس، كما وجد في داخلها بقايا رومانيّة. ومار إدنا هو لقب سريانيّ لمار طراخونبوس وهو شهيد من القرن الثالث وشفيع الأذن.The church of St Edna - Aïn EkrinThe ancient church stands in the vicinity of Aïn Ekrin built several stages over roman ruins. It consist of one nave with a crib vault, ending with a semi circular apse. The southern wall consists of three arched windows. The church holds a rare icon of St Edna painted on copper, and many roman poteries. The church also holds a medieval fresco. Edna is a Syriac nickname given to St Trakhonios, a Third century martyr, and the patron saint of ears.

يَعود إنشاء الدّير الى العام ١٧٨٠، يوم أوقَفَ الشَيخ ميلان ضِرغام الخازن، كُلَّ ما يَملُكَه لإنشاء دير تمّ بناؤه سنة ١٧٨٣. إتَخَذَه المُطران أنطون الخازن، مقراً لأبرَشيَّة بَعلبك. عام ١٨١٨، خُصِّصَ الدّير للراهِبات المُحَصَّنات، من جُملة الأديرة السِتّة التي خُصِّصَت للنِساء، ضِمن مُقَرَّرات مَجمَع اللويزة. وبَعدَ إنحِسار الدَعَوات النِسائية، هُجِرَ الدّير، وتَداعَت أبنيته، ولم يَبقَ مِنه إلا كَنيسته المَعقودة، التي ما زالت قائمة لتاريخه. تحوي الكنيسة لوحة صفدٍ مقدسيّة وبعض الأيقونات المحلية ولوحة البشارة، مع صلبوت (مجسّم للمصلوب) لرتبة السجدة. تضمّ الكنيسة مدفن المثلث الرحمات المطران أنطون نوفل حصن الخازن.

The Monastery of the Annunciation Baqloush - Sahel Alma

The construction of the monastery began in 1780 when Sheikh Milan Dergham el Khazen gave his possessions to build a monastery that was completed in 1783. Bishop Antoun el Khazen made it the episcopal residence of the bishops of Baalbeck. In 1818 the monastery was made one of the six nunneries for the contemplative maronite nuns by decree of the council of Louaizeh. The monastery fell into ruins after the nuns left, and only the church remained. The vaulted church holds a mother of peral inlayed icon with an agonizing crucifix, local icons and the painting of the Annunciation. The church also holds the sarcophagus of bishop Antoun Naufal el Khazen.

كنيسة مار لابي الرسول - حصرون

بحسب أحد التقاليد بنى الملك حصرائيم (الذي منه اسم بلدة حصرون) قصرًا وهيكلًا في هذا الموضع تحوّل في الجيل الرابع إلى كنيسةٍ على اسم مار لابي وهو اللقب السريانيّ ليهوذا الرسول. بني القسم الشرقيّ من الكنيسة في القرن الثالث عشر، وأضيف سنة ١٧٧٠ القسم الغربيّ. أخذت الكنيسة شكلها مع الصليبيّين، وهي عقد سريريّ منخفض بحنية واحدة. تضمّ الكنيسة مجموعةً من اللوحات التي تعود للقرن الثامن عشر وهي مزيج بين الأيقونة المشرقيّة وفنّ عصر النهضة.

The church of St Laby the Apostle - Hassroun

According to a folk tale, king Hassraym (from whom derived the name Hassroun) built a palace and a temple that was converted in the IVth century into a church dedicated to the apostle Laby (the syriac title given to Thaddeus or Jude). The eastern aisle was built in the XIIIth century. In 1770 the western aisle was built. During the crusaders era the church took its form, a single nave crib vaulted structure beneath the road. The church holds many XVIIth century paintings that are a representation of the local iconography being influenced by the art of the renaissance.

بنى الدّير الشيخ عاد صخر الخازن سنة ١٧٢٠ وجعله للراهبات العابدات. واتّبعت عابداته قانون الراهبة هنديّة قبل إلغاء رهبانيّتها. بقي الدّير حتّى منتصف القرن العشرين يضمّ بنات وأرامل العائلة الخازنيّة اللواتي خصّصن حياتهنّ للصلاة. واليوم هو وقفٌ خاص للعائلة. كنيسته صغيرة بعقدٍ مصالب، تضمّ لوحة العذراء المُرضعة وهي رومانيّة المصدر.

The monastery of Our Lady of the milk - Sahel Alma

The monastery was built by Sheikh Aad Sakher el Khazen in 1720, who gave it to the cloistered nuns that followed the rules of Mother Hendiyé Ajaimi before her order was dissolved. The monastery housed until the mid XXth century the daughters and the widows of the Khazen family who consecrated their lives to religion. The monastery is now a private possession of the Khazen family. The church is a crossed vault structure holding a roman painting depicting the blessed mother feeding the Lord.
